Bugatti has revealed the FKP Hommage, a one-off hypercar created as a tribute to the original Veyron and to Ferdinand Karl Piëch, the man who played a key role in reviving the marque. Built as the second bespoke project under Bugatti’s ultra-exclusive Programme Solitaire, the car blends modern engineering with clear references to the machine that changed the supercar world more than 20 years ago.

At its core sits the most powerful version of Bugatti’s legendary 8.0-litre quad-turbo W-16, sourced from the Chiron Super Sport. It produces 1,578 hp and roughly 1,600 Nm of torque, paired with a reinforced seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. While electronically limited, performance is expected to comfortably exceed the 440 kph mark.

Design cues pay direct homage to the Veyron. The body wears a classic two-tone finish, combining deep red paint with a silver base and exposed black carbon fibre at the rear. A sculpted three-dimensional horseshoe grille, enlarged air intakes and staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels give the car a modern edge without losing its heritage.

Inside, the focus is on craftsmanship and detail. A circular steering wheel recalls the Veyron’s original layout, while the centre console is machined from solid aluminium. Custom fabrics and materials surround a 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon, seamlessly integrated into the dashboard.

More than a tribute, the FKP Hommage represents the closing chapter of Bugatti’s iconic W-16 era, marking the end of a powertrain that defined an entire generation before the brand moves toward a new, electrified future.
