Acura has revealed a track-focused version of the Acura Integra to celebrate 40 years of the iconic nameplate, turning the road-going Type S into a dedicated race machine.

Built as a tribute model, the car is designed for competition use and showcases the performance potential of the Integra platform. It features a stripped-out interior, full roll cage, racing seats, and all the necessary safety upgrades required for track driving.
Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, carried over from the production model but tuned for sustained performance under racing conditions. The front-wheel-drive layout remains, staying true to the Integra’s core identity.

Extensive modifications have been made to improve handling and durability. These include upgraded suspension components, larger brakes, enhanced cooling systems, and a more aggressive aerodynamic package with a prominent rear wing and front splitter.
The car is intended as a customer racing platform, giving private teams an opportunity to compete with a purpose-built Integra in motorsport events.

While it won’t be road-legal, the project underlines Acura’s ongoing focus on performance and its effort to celebrate the legacy of the Integra as it marks four decades since its original debut.
