Toyota has officially revealed pricing for the highly anticipated GRMN Corolla, confirming that its most extreme hot hatch yet will start at $64,360 (approximately €55,500 before taxes and local fees). Including destination charges in the United States, the price rises to $65,655, placing it among the brand’s most exclusive performance models.

Developed using lessons learned from Toyota Gazoo Racing’s participation in Japan’s Super Taikyu endurance championship, the GRMN Corolla is the most track focused version of the hot hatch to date. It features a lighter body, a carbon-fibre bonnet, revised aerodynamics, upgraded suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and a torque increase to 409 Nm from its turbocharged 1.6 litre three cylinder engine.

Production will be limited to 730 examples worldwide, with Toyota confirming the model is intended primarily for Japan, North America and Australia. At this stage, no European launch has been announced, making it highly unlikely that the GRMN Corolla will be officially sold within the EU.

Despite carrying the Corolla name, the GRMN is Toyota Gazoo Racing’s most focused road car yet, developed with extensive motorsport input and engineered for serious track performance. Its lightweight construction, enhanced chassis and limited production make it one of the most exclusive performance Toyotas ever built.

For European enthusiasts, the news is bittersweet. While the GRMN Corolla represents the ultimate evolution of Toyota’s rally inspired hot hatch, buyers in Europe will likely have to admire it from afar unless Toyota decides to expand availability in the future.
