BMW has introduced a new factory-developed M Performance Track Kit for the latest M2 — and unlike most serious aero upgrades, this one remains fully road legal.

Engineered by BMW M, the package sharpens the coupe’s circuit capability with aerodynamic, chassis and cooling enhancements, all while maintaining everyday drivability. The centerpiece is a prominent rear wing, paired with front aero components designed to increase downforce and improve high-speed stability during track sessions.
Beyond aerodynamics, the kit adds adjustable coilover suspension, giving drivers the ability to fine-tune ride height and damping for more precise cornering control. Upgraded braking hardware and track-focused wheels round out the mechanical changes, ensuring the car can handle sustained performance driving without compromise.
Crucially, as an official M Performance accessory, the Track Kit meets factory safety and homologation standards in applicable markets. That means owners can legally drive to the circuit, push for lap times, and head home afterward — no trailer required.
The current M2 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six sending power to the rear wheels, already positioning it as one of BMW’s most focused driver’s cars. With the Track Kit installed, it leans even harder into its motorsport roots, effectively narrowing the gap between road car and club-level track machine.
Available through authorized BMW dealers, the package reflects the brand’s growing strategy of offering factory-backed upgrades for enthusiasts seeking sharper performance without sacrificing warranty coverage.
Track-ready aggression — with just enough civility left for the morning coffee run.
