Jaguar has begun extreme cold-weather testing of its upcoming electric grand tourer, offering a clear glimpse into the brand’s all-electric direction. A heavily camouflaged prototype has been spotted undergoing validation in Arctic conditions, where sub-zero temperatures allow engineers to push batteries, motors and software to their limits.

The electric GT is expected to become the first production model of Jaguar’s reborn lineup, set to arrive later this decade as the marque transforms into an EV-only, ultra-luxury brand.
