Porsche has revealed the Cayenne S Electric, adding a new performance-focused model to its upcoming electric Cayenne lineup. The variant is designed to balance strong performance with everyday usability, sitting between the standard Cayenne Electric and the more powerful Turbo version.

The Cayenne S Electric uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 400 kW in normal operation. When Launch Control is activated, output increases to 490 kW, allowing the large luxury SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Top speed is rated at 250 km/h.
Power comes from a 113 kWh battery pack that delivers a WLTP driving range of up to 653 kilometers. The SUV also benefits from Porsche’s 800-volt electrical architecture, enabling extremely fast charging. Under ideal conditions, the battery can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in around 16 minutes with charging speeds reaching up to 400 kW.

Visually, the Cayenne S Electric receives model-specific styling details, including distinctive trim and 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels. Buyers can also equip a range of performance-focused technologies such as Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, Porsche Active Ride suspension, and ceramic composite brakes.
The Cayenne remains one of Porsche’s most important global models, and the addition of the S Electric highlights the brand’s strategy of maintaining high performance while steadily expanding its electric lineup.
