BMW has introduced a new range of M Performance Parts for the redesigned 2027 X5, giving owners more ways to sharpen the SUV’s appearance while adding extra practicality.

The exterior upgrades include carbon fibre grille inserts and a front splitter, while the rear can be fitted with a gloss black spoiler, carbon fibre flow blades and an aramid diffuser designed to mimic the look of carbon fibre. Carbon fibre mirror caps and tailpipe finishers complete the more aggressive treatment.

European customers can choose from 21 to 23 inch wheels, alongside M Performance graphics, illuminated sill plates and dedicated floor mats. BMW notes that the M Performance sound silencer system available for the V8 model is not offered in Europe due to local regulations.

The range isn’t only about looks. BMW has also expanded the X5’s carrying capability with new aerodynamic roof boxes available in 350, 450 and 550 litre capacities. A rear cycle carrier can accommodate up to three bikes or be combined with a 300 litre storage box.

Additional attachments are available for carrying bikes, skis and snowboards, while the cabin can be equipped with smartphone and tablet holders and a rear seat tray with an integrated cup holder.

With the new X5 already arriving for its 2027 model year, the M Performance catalogue gives European owners the opportunity to personalise their SUVs from the outset, whether the priority is more aggressive styling, extra carrying capacity, or both.
