Brabus Bodo Emerges as a Theatrical 1000hp V12 Hyper GT Based on Aston Martin Vanquish

Brabus has unveiled the Bodo, a striking €1 million plus reworking of the Aston Martin Vanquish that pays tribute to the company’s late founder Bodo Buschmann. This all black hyper GT delivers 1000hp from its heavily tuned 5.2 litre twin turbo V12, producing 885lb ft of torque for dramatic performance.

The extensive carbon fibre bodywork creates a menacing, concept car presence with a squarer front end, vented bonnet, tight window line and boat tail rear featuring a pop up spoiler. Chassis 01 embraces total darkness across its carbon elements, wheels and details, accented by gold flecks in the weave, while the interior mixes Brabus upgraded leathers with familiar Vanquish switchgear, Apple CarPlay and a panoramic roof.

Weighing 1910kg, the rear wheel drive machine rockets from 0-100kph in the low three second range and reaches a top speed of 360kph. It offers practical 2+2 seating with a usable boot and comfortable front seats, positioning it as a grand tourer rather than a stripped racer.

Brabus has transformed the Vanquish underpinnings with bold new styling while retaining core luxury and usability. Production is expected to be strictly limited to 77 examples in honour of the company’s founding year. This coachbuilt project highlights Brabus’ evolution from tuner to creator of fully bespoke GTs.
