Vin Diesel has confirmed that a new Fast & Furious spin off series is heading to the Peacock streaming service, giving fans more high octane adventures with the beloved “family” while they await the final film. The announcement came during the NBCUniversal upfront presentation, building excitement for expanded storytelling beyond the big screen.

The 11th and final movie in the franchise, titled Fast Forever, is scheduled for theaters on March 17, 2028. In the meantime, Diesel highlighted a decade of fan demand for deeper dives into legacy characters through television. He noted waiting for the perfect moment, which aligned when Donna Langley took the role of NBCUniversal chairman.

No premiere date or title has been set for the series yet. While Diesel mentioned plans for multiple shows, reports indicate only one is currently confirmed for production, with Universal TV exploring additional concepts at varying stages.

Leading the project, Samantha Vincent from One Race Films will serve as executive producer alongside Diesel and longtime collaborators including Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Chris Morgan. Co-showrunners Mike Daniels and Wolfe Coleman, known for work on Shades of Blue and Sons of Anarchy, will help steer the narrative.

This move marks a significant step for the action packed franchise into streaming, promising fresh stories that build on the cinematic legacy of Dominic Toretto and his crew.
