A wide range of new models and concepts is set to be revealed, with China continuing to lead the push toward electrification and advanced vehicle technology.
Among the highlights, BYD is likely to expand its EV lineup with updated Seal and Dynasty models, focusing on improved range and performance. NIO is expected to showcase updated flagship vehicles alongside developments in battery-swapping systems, while Xpeng could introduce a next-generation smart EV with enhanced autonomous driving features.
Concept cars will also take centre stage. Geely is expected to preview future design language through new electric concepts, while SAIC Motor may unveil advanced mobility solutions focused on connectivity and urban transport.
Global brands are preparing major debuts as well. Volkswagen is likely to expand its ID lineup with new China-focused electric SUVs, while Mercedes-Benz and BMW are expected to reveal updated luxury EVs and long-wheelbase variants tailored to local demand.
With a strong mix of production-ready vehicles and forward-looking concepts, the 2026 Beijing Auto Show is set to highlight the direction of the global automotive industry.
