Cupra has unveiled the near-production Raval completely uncovered, offering the clearest view yet of its first all-electric supermini ahead of launch.
Staying faithful to the earlier UrbanRebel concept, the Raval retains its sharp, angular styling with aggressive front lighting, triangular LED signatures and bold body surfacing. Its compact proportions firmly place it in the supermini class, but the design carries a far more performance-focused attitude than most rivals in the segment.
The Raval will ride on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB Small platform, an architecture developed specifically for smaller electric vehicles. The same platform is set to underpin several upcoming compact EVs across the group, positioning the Raval as a crucial model in the push to make urban electric mobility more accessible.
Powertrain details are expected to center on a single-motor, front-wheel-drive layout, with higher-spec versions producing around 220 horsepower. Range estimates suggest approximately 250 miles under WLTP testing, targeting everyday usability rather than long-distance touring capability.

Inside, the Raval is expected to feature a minimalist digital cabin with a central touchscreen, sustainable materials and a driver-focused layout that aligns with Cupra’s sporty image.
Production will take place in Spain, reinforcing Cupra’s growing role as a standalone performance-oriented EV brand within the Volkswagen Group. With its launch approaching, the Raval represents a major step in the brand’s electric expansion strategy.

Small footprint. Big attitude. Fully electric edge.
