Toyota has introduced a small update for the Toyota GR Yaris, bringing a redesigned steering wheel along with several interior refinements aimed at improving the driving experience.

The most noticeable change is the new three-spoke steering wheel. It replaces the previous design with a cleaner and more modern look, featuring a more compact center hub and a revised button layout. The updated design is intended to make controls easier to access while keeping the driver’s hands on the wheel, while also aligning the GR Yaris with the latest steering wheel designs seen across newer Toyota models.

Toyota has also made subtle adjustments to the cabin to improve usability and driver focus. These tweaks are relatively minor but help make the interior feel slightly more refined while preserving the rally-inspired character that defines the GR Yaris.

Mechanically, the car remains unchanged. The GR Yaris continues to use its turbocharged 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine, producing 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered through a six-speed manual transmission and Toyota’s GR-Four all-wheel-drive system, maintaining the sharp performance and exceptional grip the model is known for.

Since its debut, the GR Yaris has been widely praised for bringing genuine rally technology to the road. With these latest updates, Toyota is simply keeping one of the most engaging hot hatches in the segment fresh without altering the formula that made it so popular.
