Lexus has unveiled the all new 2027 TZ, its first ever three row all electric SUV. Positioned as a more luxurious and distinct take on the upcoming Toyota electric Highlander, the TZ features unique body panels and a strong emphasis on comfort and refinement.

Stretching 5.1 meters in length with a 3.05 meter wheelbase, the six seater provides generous interior space, especially in the third row. It shares core dimensions with its Toyota counterpart but sits two centimeters longer overall and rides 0.5 centimeters lower. Dual motor all wheel drive comes as standard, with customers offered a choice of 76.96 kWh or 95.82 kWh battery packs. Lexus targets up to 483 kilometers of range, supported by a sleek 0.27 drag coefficient, flush door handles, aerodynamic mirrors, and underbody elements.
The range topping version delivers 402 hp, allowing a 0-100 kph sprint in 5.4 seconds despite a kerb weight around 2,630 kilograms. The TZ rolls on 20 or 22 inch wheels fitted with low rolling resistance tyres.

The cabin elevates luxury standards with ventilated seats and power ottomans for the first two rows, one touch folding for the rear seats, the world’s longest sliding panoramic roof, and a premium 21 speaker Mark Levinson audio system. Forged bamboo trim and exceptional quietness further distinguish it, while the model can reproduce the iconic Lexus LFA V10 soundtrack on demand for added emotional appeal.
The TZ is set to compete in the premium electric SUV segment, with full specifications, pricing, and European availability details expected closer to its market launch.
