Suzuki is preparing to enter Europe’s growing affordable electric vehicle segment with the production version of its Vision e-Sky concept. Scheduled to arrive across mainland Europe and the UK in spring 2027, the compact EV will become the brand’s second fully electric passenger car after the e Vitara and is expected to rival models such as the Renault Twingo E-Tech and the upcoming Honda Super-N.

Measuring just 3,395 mm in length, the new model is significantly shorter than the Suzuki Swift and complies with Japan’s kei car regulations. The production version is expected to remain largely faithful to the Vision e-Sky concept, with only minor revisions for series production, including updated bumpers, lighting, mirrors and door handles.

Suzuki UK Managing Director David Kateley described the A-segment EV as an important addition to the company’s future lineup, highlighting its potential to attract buyers looking for an affordable and practical urban electric car. Industry reports suggest pricing could start at under €23,000, placing it among the most accessible EVs in Europe.

Technical specifications have yet to be confirmed, although the Vision e-Sky concept targets a driving range of more than 270 kilometres on a single charge. The new model will also play a key role in helping Suzuki meet increasingly stringent European emissions regulations as the brand continues expanding its electric vehicle portfolio.
