Lamborghini has teased a new high performance version of the Urus, with a full reveal scheduled for July 1. A preview image released by the Italian automaker hints at a more track focused evolution of its hybrid super-SUV.
The teaser showcases an Urus fitted with a dramatic two piece rear spoiler spanning the roofline and tailgate, suggesting significant aerodynamic upgrades. The aggressive design points to a model positioned above the current Urus SE as the most performance oriented variant in the lineup.
While Lamborghini has not released technical details, the new model is expected to build on the Urus SE’s plug in hybrid powertrain. The previous Urus Performante combined increased power with reduced weight, and the upcoming variant could follow a similar philosophy with chassis, aerodynamic and performance enhancements.
Unlike the Huracán, which was offered in numerous versions including the EVO, STO, Tecnica and Sterrato, the Urus range has remained relatively compact. This latest addition signals Lamborghini’s intention to further expand its flagship SUV lineup.
Full specifications, performance figures and pricing will be announced when the new Urus makes its official debut on July 1.
