A new mobile application called ODO (Odometer Data Observer) has officially launched, offering drivers a smarter way to stay on top of vehicle maintenance. Designed to track odometer readings and service history, the app aims to help owners avoid missed maintenance by predicting upcoming service intervals based on their actual driving habits rather than fixed schedules.

Once a vehicle is added, users can log their mileage either manually or by taking a photo of the dashboard. ODO’s built-in AI can read odometer values directly from dashboard images, automatically recording the mileage without requiring additional hardware or complicated setup. Manual logging remains available for those who prefer it, while AI-powered odometer scanning is included with the app’s Pro subscription.

Using the recorded mileage, ODO estimates when future maintenance will be due and sends reminders based on each driver’s individual usage. The app supports both older and newer vehicles, making it suitable for virtually any car regardless of age or technology. According to the developers, newer models can also make use of digital logs alongside photo based updates, with all submitted data handled privately.

Current features include a maintenance dashboard, support for managing multiple vehicles in a single garage, service event logging, and predictive maintenance reminders.
