Porsche has delivered another standout performance at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, with the Porsche 911 GT3 fitted with the Manthey kit recording an official lap time of 6:50.863. The result highlights how far the track-focused package can push the already capable GT3 platform.
Developed in partnership with Manthey Racing, the upgrade package focuses heavily on aerodynamics and chassis refinement. A larger rear wing, revised front aero elements, and additional components significantly increase downforce, improving stability at high speeds. Suspension upgrades, including adjustable coilovers, further sharpen handling and allow the car to maintain higher cornering speeds.

The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six continues to deliver 518 hp, paired with a rear-wheel-drive layout that preserves the GT3’s signature driving character. Rather than increasing power, the Manthey package extracts more performance through improved grip, balance, and braking capability.
The 6:50.863 lap places the GT3 Manthey among the fastest road-legal cars to ever lap the circuit, underlining the effectiveness of the upgrades. Additional enhancements such as lightweight components, upgraded brakes, and track-focused tires contribute to the car’s improved lap time and overall performance.
With these refinements, Porsche demonstrates that precision engineering and aerodynamic efficiency can deliver gains comparable to major power increases, keeping the GT3 Manthey at the forefront of track-focused performance.
