Porsche has unveiled the 911 GT3 Bergsport, an ultra limited special edition created exclusively for four European markets: Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland. Just 100 examples will be built by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, with none offered outside these countries.
Based on the 911 GT3 with the Touring and Lightweight packages, the Bergsport combines a naturally aspirated 4.0 litre flat six producing 502 hp and 346 lb-ft with a sixspeed manual gearbox and forged aluminium wheels.
A front axle lift system helps tackle steep Alpine roads and tight mountain hairpins, while the larger 90 litre fuel tank provides additional range for longer journeys.
The standout exterior feature is a bespoke Valley Green Metallic finish created through Porsche’s Paint to Sample Plus programme. Inside, matching Valley Green leather is joined by decorative stitching inspired by the peaks of the Alps.
The Bergsport will make its world premiere at the Arosa ClassicCar event in Switzerland on 3 September 2026. The event’s 7.2 kilometre hillclimb course, which rises around 420 metres, pays tribute to Porsche’s historic Bergspyder racing cars.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in winter 2027/2028.
Unlike Porsche’s track focused special editions, the Bergsport remains fully road legal and is intended as a celebration of Alpine driving and the company’s hillclimb heritage.
For enthusiasts in Austria, France, Italy and Switzerland, however, the biggest attraction may simply be its exclusivity: only 100 Alpine bound GT3s will ever be built.
