Toyota is celebrating six decades of the Corolla with new 60th Anniversary editions for the Hatchback, Touring Sports and Sedan, combining exclusive styling with upgraded equipment.

First introduced in 1966, the Corolla has become Toyota’s best selling model, with more than 57 million examples sold worldwide. It also has a strong European production history, with manufacturing beginning in Turkey in 1994 and expanding to the UK in 1998.

The Hatchback and Touring Sports editions feature exclusive New Boreal Blue metallic paint with a Night Sky Black roof and pillars. Both receive new 17 inch 10 spoke alloy wheels, matt silver exterior accents, dark plated trim and dedicated 60th Anniversary door decals. The Touring Sports also gets a matt silver rear bumper detail.

The Sedan comes with its own Lunar Sky Blue finish and matching anniversary styling, while Platinum White Pearl and Ash Grey metallic are also available.
Inside, anniversary branded scuff plates and black carpet mats with silver detailing add subtle touches to the cabin.
Power comes from Toyota’s fifth generation hybrid system. The Hatchback and Touring Sports offer a 1.8 litre unit with 140 DIN hp or a 2.0 litre producing 178 DIN hp, while the Sedan is available exclusively with the 1.8 litre hybrid.
Standard equipment includes a 12.3 inch digital driver display, 10.5 inch Toyota Smart Connect+ touchscreen with cloud navigation and Toyota’s T-Mate safety suite with over the air updates.
Rather than reinventing the Corolla, Toyota has used the anniversary editions to add a distinctive finish to a familiar formula of efficiency, practicality and everyday usability six decades after the nameplate first appeared.
