Genesis Magma Racing has expanded its motorsport ambitions by revealing a new GT3 Concept just ahead of the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. This follows the brand’s entry into the FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar class with the GMR-001 this season.

The concept was engineered from the ground up to meet GT3 technical regulations in collaboration with Hyundai Motorsport. It features a wider track width, aggressive race ready bodywork, a prominent fixed rear wing behind the mid mounted engine, and advanced thermal management strategies designed to enhance durability during endurance racing.

While closely related to the recently updated Magma GT Concept shown with its full interior in France, the GT3 model stands as an independent development focused purely on performance. Genesis has emphasized that this remains an exploratory exercise, with components, development paths, and architecture still under evaluation.

Nevertheless, the project signals broader intentions beyond Hypercar racing. Insights gained could shape the performance direction of future Genesis road cars and further strengthen the Magma subbrand. The reveal at Circuit de la Sarthe highlights the South Korean manufacturer’s growing commitment to top tier motorsport.
